Stafford Twilight's breeding is exceptional in its strength and depth of soundness, quality and performance. His Sire Sanbal was the sire of numerous dressage, show jumping, eventing and county show winners renowned for their temperament and quality. His Dam Stafford After Eight is herself a winner in the show ring both in hand and under saddle. She is also the Dam of several successful show, dressage and show jumping winners.

Stafford Twilight was a prolific winner in hand including winning for three successive years at The West Midlands Stallion Show. Under saddle he has done exceptionally well, winning several BD novice and elementary competitions with percentages in excess of 67%, and qualifying for the Winter National, Summer Regional and Pedigree Chum Dressage with Jumping Championships. In addition Stafford Twilight has jumped successfully under BSJA rules.
